PREVIEW
So when I was in this show, they were desperate for ushers. And in the show, we only
had a few people who could do it, so one of the ushers ended up being someone who
was very close to me. They were someone I had dated for a few months, and it had ended
— well it wasn’t my proudest moment. Long story short, the first time we see each other
in a long time was outside the show.
They looked so cute as an usher. And when we got to talking, albeit briefly, there was a
moment where nothing had happened. In that moment I hadn’t broken their heart. In that
moment we were still just two people who knew and liked each other. In that one moment,
we forgot that we had a history, and that we had no future. It was there for only a moment,
and then it was gone. But in that moment, there was so much I wanted to say. I wanted
to say I’m sorry — not just for the things I did, or the way I broke their heart but also for
who I was, for what I did to them, for what I put them through before and after the
relationship.
