Thank you for coming to the Ottawa Première of SOLOVELA! 

One performer. Every character. A brand-new story each night, driven by an audience interview. Hilarious, bold, and completely unscripted, this Critics' Choice winner (2025 Orlando Fringe) brings the passion and chaos of the telenovela (Latin soap opera) to the stage in improvised in real time. No two shows are ever the same!

THE TEAM

DIANE JORGE

A seasoned award winning improviser with over 17 years experience, Diane is well known throughout Florida and beyond for her exceptional talent, grace and comedic chops. She has been performing SOLOVELA for six years and also has another show inspired by the legendary astrologer Walter Mercado entitled "Mercado de la Fortuna" which recently wrapped up its second run in Orlando. 

 Hailing from Miami, she wishes to thank her husband, CAFF, everyone else mentioned above for this incredible opportunity. She is thrilled to be a part of the Montreal Fringe and is excited to be able to explore more of this wonderful country (and not just for expatriate purposes).

Matti McLean - stage manager

Multidisciplinary artist Matti McLean is thrilled to be a part of the SOLOVELA team. Hailing from North Bay Ontario he is currently living in Toronto. 

Theatre performer and producer, body painter, tour guide and writer he is always excited to take on any artistic challenge (and sometimes the admin to go with it).
