ACTUAL CHAOS PROGRAM

SHOW NOTES

I didn't intend for this show to be auto biographical but here we are.
When I first conceived this show I had based it upon my love of game shows. One of my biggest dreams has always been to be a game show host. They're always so composed and in control.
And I'm… well… myself.
The original idea of the show was to see what would happen if a game show host cracked. How much can they handle really? What will make them snap?
Earlier this year, I was hosting for a trivia company in Toronto and suddenly this show became a lot more real. When someone unexpectedly fires you, it can be hard not to take it personally. Especially when it's something that you're really excited to do.
When I was let go, it hurt, not just because it left me completely without employment, but because I had invested a lot of myself into the experience. I had finally felt like I had found a company that valued and respected me.
And then I was reminded that if you're not the one running the show, you're the one who can get the boot.
So I'm not calling this a revenge story because that sounds ugly.
No.
This is my vengeance.
When life kicks you around, we make beautiful art.
Big stupid chaotic beautiful art.
Thanks to the Dust for importing me.
Big thanks to Joel for supporting me in these lean few months.
To Corey for being a great ear to push me out of my comfort zone.
Heather, thanks for constantly kicking my ass.
Sean for being an excellent sounding board to get me moving.
Curtis Earth for having me on your show!
Katie, Dani, Mel, Kaitlyn, Holly, Keith (yes, even you), Jo and my whole Fringe Family.
Y'all are awesome.
