SOLOVELA - Orlando Fringe 2025 Review

SOLOVELA - Orlando Fringe 2025 Review

A one woman telenovela should be an insurmountable task - and to most people it would be - but not to Diane Jorge, who not only conquers this mountain- but absolutely demolishes it.

A long form improv show where she embodies all the characters in a telenovela that she makes up based upon the people in the audience. Her ability to juggle the various characters in hilarious and over the top situations are an absolute delight to see. Her energy and experience is so apparent that she could easily slide into some of the best improv stages and go toe to toe with the best in the business.

There is a very specific kind of love that you can feel she carries into the set. She is here to ensure the audience has a good time and she nails the brief.

This is absolutely a must-see of the festival - and with only two shows left, I may very well switch to this channel once again.

Matti McLean is at Orlando Fringe presenting A CANADIAN EXPLAINS EUROVISION TO AMERICANS - and the Eurovision song I'd encapsulate with this show is - undoubtedly - ESA DIVA from Spain 2025 by Melody!
