Bryan is a charming performer who has a great deal to say about life. This production which heavily features ruminations on suicide is set up very well, balancing between sketch characters, storytelling and of course the happy ending, which in this case, is the begining.
Bryan is a quirky presence onstage with a lot of levity and charm. He bounces eagerly across the stage with a vigour that gives the entire production a playful and happy tone. It does contrast in the middle where the subject matter takes a darker tone, but overall Bryan does a good job of being earnest and easy to root for.
The standout piece of the show is the gay Moses sketch, which blends several themes of the show together into a cohesive whole.
Overall Bryan displays a ton of potential and an absolutely wonderful first production that stands toe to toe with an exceptionally high quality fringe.
