When you look up, you can feel it. I think we all can. There's just so much of it and when something is that big- so inconceivably immense that it baffles the mind - how do you handle it? 

And then you realize that everyone must handle this somehow. That at some point, we all looked up at the sky and realized just how big things are. And then, whether we realized it or not, we made a choice. 

Some make the choice to keep their heads down. To ignore it. To pretend it doesn't exist. They see the grand expanse of possibility and freeze. They go on with their nose on the ground. Steadfast and determined to believe that there is nothing out there that is outside of their reach. That there is nothing you can’t control. That the infinite void that surrounds you- doesn’t. If you can't see it, then it can't affect you.
